Full autonomy sounds great until your campaign starts talking to itself. 🤖
Plenty of agencies are selling fully autonomous AI agents these days. Set it up once, walk away, let the machine run your outreach forever.
We've watched where that road leads. Drifting campaigns. Generic copy that reads as if nobody in particular wrote it. Outputting that nobody's actually steering, while quietly burning your sender reputation and leaving everyone assuming it's handled.
To be clear, AI is genuinely good at parts of this job. Drafting variants at speed. Personalizing details across ten thousand contacts a human couldn't manually touch. Spotting reply patterns that would take a person weeks to notice.
What it doesn't know is when a subject line reads wrong given this week's news cycle. When a joke lands flat instead of clever. When a client's voice has shifted, and the copy needs to shift with it.
That's the gap autonomous systems don't close on their own.
So every campaign we run keeps a human checking the output before it ships, not after something's gone sideways for three weeks.
AI-forward was never supposed to mean AI-alone. It means moving fast with someone still watching the wheel.
Sound interesting?
