Three months in Stockholm šøšŖ
Three months of calling a new country home.
I think thereās something about the three-month mark when you move abroad. The adrenaline of arriving has worn off, the boxes are unpacked, you know which train to take without checking Google Maps š and real life starts.
Youāre no longer just new here. Youāre settling.
There are still things that feel unfamiliar. Things I miss. Systems Iām still trying to understand. Days when starting over feels exciting and days when it feels exhausting.
But there are also routines now. Favourite places. Familiar faces. School runs. Workdays. Weekend rituals. A little more confidence navigating a life that was completely foreign three months ago.
For anyone else who has moved countries, what did the three-month mark feel like for you?
Three months in Stockholm. Still finding our feet, but slowly, surely, this is starting to feel like home. š¤šøšŖ
