A funnel manager applies no filter to information or pressure. Everything, from unnecessary meetings and endless changes to office politics and unrealistic deadlines, falls directly on the team’s shoulders. This style usually leads to stress, distraction, and reduced productivity. In such an environment, the team’s energy is spent managing crises and noise rather than making real progress.

Umbrella management
