LED Cave Visual Experience!
Naked-eye designing for an LED cave requires matching 3D animations to multi-surface room geometry, calculating precise monoscopic perspective view-points, and using high-framerate rendering tools. Key steps include defining the sweet-spot viewing angle, creating anamorphic masks, and mapping textures across curved or angled seams.
Core Design Principles
Anamorphic Perspective: Build animations warped for a single primary viewer position so flat walls look deep.
Seamless Surface Mapping: Stretch content smoothly across multi-plane corners, floors, and ceilings without distortion at the seams.
High Refresh and Frame Rates: Render at 60fps or higher with minimum 3840Hz screen refresh to reduce motion judder.
High Contrast and Shadows: Use deep black backgrounds and realistic ambient occlusion edges to trick the brain into seeing physical volume.
