SERVANT/NANNY/BABYSITTER/DRIVER VISA APPLICATION ( UNDER INDIVIDUAL SPONSORSHIP )

To sponsor a house maid, you should hold a UAE Residency Visa.There are criterias and restrictions apply.

- Sponsor's minimum salary requirement (usually the male head of the family) must be AED 10000 per month.
- Bachelors are not eligible to sponsor a maid. Single mothers with children or those who don't have a husband in the UAE might be able to sponsor a maid or nanny.
- Maids can only be sponsored from Sri Lanka, India, Philippines,Nepali, Ethiopia and Indonesia.

PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW - All processing fees, i.e security deposits and file opening fees will be processed through typing centre at the time of application

- Entry Permit (employment permit) you need to obtain an entry permit / employment visa so she/he can enter the UAE
- Change status - if the applicant is inside during the visa application and does not exit the country, change status must be done before expiry of visit/tourist visa or grace period (for cancelled visa holders). After status change only the applicant's file will be changed to the new sponsor.
- Medical Fitness Tests and emirates ID, go for blood test, x-ray and/or Hepatitis B vaccination,
Medical fitness results will be sent to sponsor's email and DNRD electronically, for Emirates ID, submit applicaion and do fingerprints
- Residence visa stamping, residence visa affixed on maid's passport valid for one year

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS all docs in colored copies if originals will not be provided

3. Sponsor's passport + visa + original Emirates ID
4. Sponsor’s Bank account IBAN No.
5. Sponsor’s spouse passport + residence visa
6. Sponsor’s Marriage Certificate
7. Ejari & Dewa Bill or Title Deed – min. 3 bedrooms
8. Affidavit from the Consulate (stating that the maid is not related with sponsor and spouse )
9. Sponsor's Salary certificate in Arabic format- Gov't./Semi-Gov't/Free zone Employee
10. Labour contract- if the Sponsor’s Visa is from Ministry of Labour /LLC
11. Medical report is required some nationalities (Indonesia, Sri Lanka from their home country)
12. Medical Certificate – will be presented during typing of visa stamping
13. Emirates ID application - will be presented during typing of visa stamping
14. Housemaid contract should be signed by both parties

DEPENDENTS/FAMILY ( WIFE & CHILDREN) VISA APPLICATION

Expatriate who are holding residence visas in the UAE can sponsor their family members subject to terms and conditions which include minimum salary AED4000 (with accommodation) or AED6000 (without accommodation) set out by General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) of the emirate that has issued his visa. These conditions are subject to change from time to time. Kindly check with GDRFA of the respective emirate.

Procedures Family Visa ( WIFE & CHILDREN) all steps can be completed from authorized Typing Centre.

STAGE 1 : ENTRY PERMIT ( RESIDENCE ) - The entry visa will have to be converted into residence visa. Visa holder should enter UAE within 60 days from the date of issue and should complete Emirates ID, Medical and Visa Stamping within 60 days from the date of entry/status change.

STAGE 2 : CHANGE STATUS - If the visa holder is inside country on cancelled visa or Visit or Tourist Visa, and did not exit,then the applicant has to change his/her visa statu, it should be done before expiry of visit visa or grace period (for cancelled visa holders). After status change only the applicant’s file will be changed to the new sponsor.

STAGE 3 : MEDICAL TESTS & EMIRATES ID BIOMETRIC

*STAGE 4 : VISA STAMPING - Residence Visa should be stamped within 60 days from the date of Entry/Status Change.

3. Sponsor's passport & visa colored copies + original Emirates ID
4. Sponsor’s Marriage Certificate –attested by UAE Embassy from Home Country & UAE MOFA
5. Birth Certificate - attested by UAE Embassy from Home Country & UAE MOFA
6. Ejari & Dewa Bill
7. Title Deed - if owner of the property
8. Sponsor's Salary certificate Arabic format - Gov't./Semi-Gov't/Free zone Employee
9. Labor Contract – Dubai/LLC visa

* Additional documents during the typing of visa stamping

12. Change Status – old residence visa or on arrival file no. or tourist visa

Please note, if leaving the UAE for more than six months, the residence visa becomes invalid, and the entire process will have to be re-started again
