The past few weeks have been nothing short of special: so memorable and rewarding!

Not only was I given the pleasure of sharing my journey and lessons learned as a female Graphic Designer with a group of girls at my high school Alma Mater, but also with girls and women from across our nation at the official Girls in ICT Day ceremony. I was touched by their interactiveness and very profound questions. These students really made me think 😅👌🏽.

The future of Girls in ICT is wide open and exciting! I'm looking forward to the unfolding success of these girls.

A great reminder at the start of 2021!

Remember that your audience is made of people who feel like you do. Experiencing emotions can’t be helped. Emotion is a major component that can be used to access the attention span and purchase decision of the consumer. Understand your audience and which emotions would resonate most with them. Aligning this insight with your overall marketing goals could help to focus your efforts and produce results.

As the summer heat begins to roll in, it's important to remain hydrated. If we don't, our physical and mental performance can suffer. In general, drinking fluids helps our bodies operate the way they should: body temperature is kept under control, and heart rate and blood pressure are well managed.

Hydration can also impact our energy and brain function. Even mild dehydration can impair energy levels and mood, and seriously affect memory and brain performance. The right amount of fluids can lead to collected composure, greater focus, higher energy levels, and more.

Let's not take drinking fluids for granted. After all, the human body is made up of 90% of water. Adequate hydration will help our bodies and minds to function optimally in all areas of life.
