🌴Making Waves: My role in the SIDS4 Conference Communications 🌍
Imagine assisting in coordinating communications for a global conference spanning multiple small island nations. That's exactly what I faced with the 4th International Conference of Small Island Developing States (SIDS4).
My mission? Create a buzz, keep attendees informed, and share the conference's impact with the world.
This meant juggling multiple roles: graphic designer, social media manager, video editor, and press relations specialist – all while ensuring a cohesive message that resonated with diverse audiences from around the globe.
In a world of information overload, strong visual communication cuts through the noise. Our infographics and video content were shared three times more often than text-only posts.
The impact? Positive attendee feedback, a comprehensive media library for future SIDS initiatives, and amplified voices of small island nations on the global stage.
The synergy between design, social media, video, and traditional press relations created a communications ecosystem that amplified our message far beyond the sum of its parts. It was a privilege to contribute to such an important global dialogue.
