The concept of Work-Life Balance already contains a conflict in its name: work is opposed to life. Trying to catch the balance between the two creates a lot of inner tension and excessive anxiety. Not to mention the fact that the former is perceived as something bad, while the latter plays the role of good.
Does this dichotomy have a place for your current needs, or does the wheel of balance dictate that you need to pay attention to all 7-9 areas of life? Career, finances, vacations, family, friends, personal development... Is it realistic to give quality time to everything? Is there inspiration, upliftment, strength? Is "me" in a crisis where I am only capable of doing basic tasks?
We believe that you should create balance in your life, but do it in harmony with your current motivations, goals, and future needs.
