Happy 2nd Birthday Molly!

2 years ago, we were handed a blank canvas and told ‘When Molly’s opens, we want there to be a line out the door’...Job done!

Time flown by, and the To-do list has been endlessly fun. From building and launching the brand, regular production shoots, and more designs, animations and cool campaigns than you can poke a stick at...not to mention a few drinks, dinners and parties here and there! Sure, we can say that our work is so cool, but in the end it all comes down to relationships, we have a blast with the guys from Molly’s, like the sign says... ‘I like where this is going’!

A considered brand approach to Specialist Disability Living.

When we first sat down with the team to hear their vision, it was clear the answer was already in the name. The brand needed to feel connected to the coast, as well as the community, with a sense of calmness and approachability.

This was a project where we had to actually be there to get it right, which meant roads trips... multiple. Walking along Aldinga Beach, we noticed the line of pebbles left behind by the tide, natures footprint. This tidal pebble line had a sense of being natural, protective and quietly beautiful. These qualities became the foundation of the brand.

The form we developed draws on that idea: a pebble-like shape that ‘houses’ and protects a water-inspired ‘C’. It’s simple, but intentional. The identity feels protective and encompassing, deeply connected to the place it comes from and the people it’s designed for.

From there, it was about carrying this brand across every touchpoint. We worked through floorplans and spatial graphics, ensuring the experience felt just as considered in the built environment as it did in the brand.

Getting out of the office to support the Master Builders Association Golf Day is the best way to spend a Friday!

We were proud to be involved as a sponsor and get out on the course for a hit with MBA industry members, who were pretty hand golfers!

A few good shots by us, many more that we won’t talk about! Look forward to doing it again next year!
