Ever notice how small details can completely change the feel of a brand? 🌿

I’ve been exploring a softer, calmer approach to botanical skincare for a refined, understated, and quietly elevated feel. I love to see how simple shifts in the choice of colour, typography, and layout can alter the whole mood of a brand.

This is one of my favourite parts of the brand process - taking the concept and finding the subtle touches that make a brand feel thoughtful, balanced and aligned with the client’s dream customer.

This project was very product focused, with a more pared back design than the softer, more expressive projects I often work on.

The labelling and signage for Birchgate were influenced by functional considerations. The signage needed to be readable in a rural, roadside location, while the labelling had to meet food labelling standards.

The result is a more structured design, with a focus on clarity and restraint, letting the logo and typography do the work rather than layering things in.

For me this type of work is about crisp details and balance - where carefully structured typography, clean layouts, and consistency ensures brand recognition across packaging and other touch points for the business.

This is the kind of project I will never get tired of working on 🫶🌸
Soft, floral, a little nostalgic, but still considered enough to work across a full product range.
There was a lot to consider when pulling together the different details for this project, and my focus was to bring together all the different element into a calm and cohesive brand identity that looks and feels calm and connected.
Everything is designed to sit comfortably together, so it feels like a complete brand rather than a collection of separate pieces.
