Today Lucky Chan ventured out from his laundry and saw the vacant streets of Northbridge. Now more than ever our industry needs your support.

Like you have done before in supporting Australia’s first crowdfunded restaurant it’s time to “CALL YOU ALL TO ARMS AGAIN!”

Whilst knocking back a Bubble Tea Cocktail and smashing a Popcorn Chicken, Lucky has devised his top 5 ideas how you can help keep our industry alive.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP!

1. Go out and eat!
Asian, Indian, Mexican, it doesn’t matter. The queues at the shops are too long anyway to cook at home. You can rest assured that we are fully aware of the virus and precautions have been taken to protect our staff and customers. Jump in your car and get some tasty bites for you and your loved ones.
2. If you book a table, rock up or own up.
With reduced trading worldwide, we use bookings as part of our information source to roster staff. If you can’t make it, that’s cool but please cancel your reservation.
3. Try Take-away!
Most restaurants will be offering this now as a way to maximise revenue and minimise exposure to those more concerned. Third party online ordering platforms are great for you but ordering directly and picking up yourself supports our businesses another 35%! Pickup your food in your pyjamas if you want to. We don’t care, actually we will throw in an extra treat if you do!
4. Tip your staff
These guys are “apparently” risking their own health and safety to give you the best service and entertain your night. A little tip goes a long way, especially when many staff will be currently on reduced wages during this time.
5. Buy gift vouchers
We all struggle to find that perfect gift for someone whether it be late notice or with months of planning. Buy them a night out at an amazing venue: they will love it; you’re putting money back into hospo; and they might bring you along too!

People of Perth and hospitality unite. We hope to see more of you back on our streets, our tables and bars soon.

For the last 12 months lucky chans has consolidated and reinvigorated its food program.
Now we are ready for YOU.
If you want to be a part of a well oiled and happy team. Come on down.
We are looking for a full time chef to join the ranks.
Pay is hourly with leave entitlements and sick pay
38 hours week all nights and weekends
But hey. We are chefs and that’s what we signed up for.
With regular menu changes and specials there is a lot to learn here.
We are looking for mature and responsible chefs only

Why Chefs Collective and What we do...

Globally, the hospitality industry is struggling and is in need of change.

The current global climate is showing that Head Chef positions are increasingly hard to fill.

The role of the Head Chef is to essentially run the kitchen, which makes up 60% of the business's turnover and the level of skill required in a Head Chef is very high.

When a new Head Chef is appointed, they bring their own preferred suppliers, their habits and attitude and their own take on your menu.
