Here are some pictures of a grill shell we made recently to suit a
1934 Nash, we only had an original grill shell to use as a pattern, so first we cast a aluminium grill and then cut it and welded it to make it bigger to allow for shrinkage, we made the aluminium pattern 20mm longer and 5mm wider than the original so when the brass castings were made they would be the same size as the original grill shell, the last picture is the first 2 grill shells cast off the aluminium pattern ready to be drilled and tapped, then they will be sent to the chrome platers
