Last weekend Veronica kindly gave me this painting whilst visiting her current exhibition at the lorne community centre.

The original frame pine frame was swapped out with the darker timber float frame, and its ready to go the wall.

Letting the Art Shine

We just framed up this little Etching piece purchased by the client from a trip to . Its important to respect the way the original artist presented the work, and in this case hiding the under a would have been sacrilege.

Its been framed in a frame set behind UV70 conservation grade glass, and we think it looks great.

Big or Small works, if you have a special piece of art work thats languishing in a draw or still rolled up in a tube maybe its time it saw the light of day.

Colac Otway Shire - Youth Photography Competition

Tucked away under the covers are the 58 entries for the 2025 .

This is the second year of this event and once again we are proud to support the work of the younger members of the Shire.

Framed Tour Artwork

Recently we printed tour posters for from for the of .

The was just printed on - and the set into a grey matt with . The choice here helped keep the darker colour pallette of the original artwork.

The frame choosen was a black semi gloss textured finish. Throughout the frame though are sections of tan fleck. Again choosen to pick up on the tonality of the art work.

It was finished with a to ensure none of the small details within the Art Work where lost to reflection that regular glass is prone to.

Working Space !

When the studio was designed (from a old hay shed) a key element was the ability to work with BIG WORK.

The main table is 2.7m by 2 4m with a 30mm Heavy MDF Top, which was used so I could stand on the table if needed. The posts hold the roof up where lined with space to run power, air lines and network cables.

These 4 floating frames are to fit printed canvases that are 1400mm by 1000mm. I won't post finished Images until they are with the client.
