HOWDY FOODIES! Thanks for visiting my page. What is Breakfast Adventurers? In a nutshell the main focus will be operating the Instagram and Facebook accounts for busy restaurant / cafe owners. As an expert in the field I'll drive and grow an online community & presence for your restaurant/cafe. This results in driving foot traffic, therefore increased sales.
Having established my own successful brand I get invited to a lot of launches, VIP nights, events etc which gives me the opportunity to converse with like minded people. These people include food bloggers, influences, restaurant/cafe owners and more! Having been exposed in the 'marketing hospitality world' for over 7 years I'm aware of the processes involves in organising and communicating the most effective strategies to achieve the best results though social media. A little bit of background about me...
I've worked in a TON of restaurants and cafes whilst studying at university. As I was studying my Master of Communication at RMIT University, I also worked as a barista at Whisk and Grind Cafe in Beaumaris. Whisk & Grind cafe was never active on Social Media, until I made it be.... I wanted to put our cafe on the map, as this is what all the cafe's were doing at the time! So, I approached my boss asking if I could create an Instagram page for Whisk & Grind? She happily agreed to it as long as I did all the work! (It did't seem like work to me though).I was able to build up a small audience within the bayside community which then grew over time. We noticed an increase in foot traffic, we'd never been so busy before! Social Media is so effective in the hospitality industry... after all we do eat with our eyes! After graduating from university I got my first full time job at a Social Media Assistant for a small private events company. Within this role I mostly wrote 'food posts' for pubs around Melbourne, with a main focus on Parma and Steak nights. After spending a year at this company I was approached by a Social Media Agency based in South Melbourne. I now work with clients within the fields of food, fashion and lifestyle.
