Fruitful Online

Fruitful Online SEO and GEO for Australian businesses. We help you get found in Google and cited by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

From Qld, now based in Hobart, Tasmania, helping businesses get found online since 2011. No contracts, no hype. Fruitful Online helps businesses get found in Google and cited by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. We do two things: SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), which helps people find you in search, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), the newer practice of structuring your website so AI can read, trust, and recommend it. As more people ask AI instead of Google, businesses that aren't set up for it get left behind. We make sure you're not one of them. We work with small businesses, local family businesses, online stores, and service providers across Australia, and with English-speaking businesses worldwide. You can work with us three ways: done-for-you SEO and GEO with no lock-in contracts and reporting from day one, a one-off audit that shows exactly where you stand and what to fix first, or DIY checklists if you'd rather do the work yourself. What makes us different is honesty. We tell you the truth about what will and won't work, including when the answer is that we can't help. We've had clients stay with us for over ten years. Founded by Georgie Hope, who's worked in SEO since 2009. No fluff, no vague promises. Just clear strategy, good content, and practical advice that moves the needle.

TASK 14: GEO for Blog Posts Checklist
Add FAQs at the end with concise, fact-based answers

FAQs make it easy to give AI clear answers to real questions.
But most FAQs waste the opportunity.

Vague answers aren’t useful to AI.
Give specific, fact-based answers that can stand on their own.

Write direct answers. No padding.
One question. One clear answer.
Add numbers, timeframes and specifics when they’re genuinely known.

Instead of: Costs vary based on many factors.
Write: Most residential projects cost between $3,000 and $8,000, depending on soil type and access.

3–5 useful FAQs is a good starting point.
Answer questions your customers actually ask.
Don’t add FAQs just to hit a number.

TASK 13: Bold the direct answer in the first sentence of each section

Are your answers in bold?
It’s easier for people and AI
Answer the header question in the first sentence.
Then bold it.
SImple

Buried in paragraph three?
AI and people move on

Header: How much does …… cost?
……. costs between $5,000 and $20,000.
Bold. Done.

Clear answers build trust.
Trust builds citations.
Bold your first sentence today.

A business owner asks ChatGPT for the best in their field, in their city. It names a competitor. Not them. It's a specific gut-punch. It feels personal.
There are 7 fixable reasons it happens, and here they are.

Questions are the answer.
If you want AI to cite you.

AI answers questions.
If your headers are questions, AI matches them.

Instead of: Installation Process
Write: How do you install ….?
AI can now cite that section directly.

AI extracts sections without context.
Write each one like it’s the only one.

Open one blog right now.
How many headers are questions?
If zero — you know where to start.

Question headings need to be questions someone would actually ask.
Not all headings need to be Questions

TASK 11: GEO for Blogs Checklist
The first 1/3 of your blog is the most important for AI.

Add a clear direct answer near the top.

Or a numbered list of 3–5 top points.
One-line answers. No padding.

Example format:
1. What it is — one sentence.
2. Why it matters — one sentence.
3. What to do — one sentence.
That’s enough. AI extracts it and cites it.

Do this on every blog before anything else
