Where the @% #* did the last 24 months go?!
While it may have felt like we were MIA, assumed to be lying on a beach somewhere sipping on 'Gucci' craft beer of choice. We wish!
We've actually been working through some challenges.
1 - we had clients dealing with enormous uncertainty during the pandemic. And we jumped into action to help those desperately looking to either use their forced downtime as an opportunity to reposition themselves. Or innovate their brands to retain and grow their revenue.
2. as support to small businesses through this time, the government released multiple grants, and our project enquiries soared. Happy to say we helped 7 clients win grant money (over $45k) to better their businesses. 🥳
3 - we had an ah-ha moment and realised that we, too, needed a brand refresh. Our fundamental values had sifted. We had upskilled in multiple areas and been certified as Webflow Expert Partners. Yew! 🤙🏼
And if all that was not enough to keep us quiet...
4 - we discovered that a too close-to-home design studio had cloned our website content 🤮
So what do you do when your industry sticks you where it hurts. Well, you cry, then panic. And decide to leave design and live out your dream of becoming a master potter, on a farm, far away. And then you realise that anyone can copy what you do, they can even copy what you say - but they can't copy the magic - which is Rory and I.
So we sat down and re-imaged our business. We stripped things away and questioned our norms. We looked for misalignments and gaps and uncovered opportunities to push beyond our brand limitations. We—
+ fine-tuned our brand pillars and fundamental values
+ refined our visuals to better communicate with our high-value clients
+ niched down (again - even further)
+ committed to a new planet promise
+ built fresh content and a killer website (launching soon)
