With his friendly, educated tone, Leon Murray has built a reputation as one of Australia's most trusted voice over talents. Along with thousands of commercial voiceovers, Leon's 25-year media career includes helming his own NOVA radio show, hosting links on The Project, and voicing a pizza delivery robot for a stadium of cheering fans (full disclosure, they were very hungry).
Leon has also scaled the Mount Everest of voiceovers, taking on arguably the most demanding voice gig on television: the official live broadcast voice of Big Brother. Across five series, Leon truly made the role his own, searing his dry wit, infamous baritone, and flirtatious improv skills into the memories of reality TV lovers across the nation. To this day, Leon still gets fan messages demanding a comeback.
But he's far from a one-trick pony. Leon's range and adaptability have kept him in-demand across television, radio and online for hundreds of clients. His resume includes FMCG brands like McDonalds, Youfoodz, Domino's and Subway. Motoring makes such as BMW, KIA and IVECO Trucks. Banking brands from CUA and Suncorp to BT Financial. He's voiced tech for Samsung, LG, and Nikon, and travel for instantly recognisable names like Flight Centre, Virgin Australia, Kathmandu, and Expedia. Leon's voiced ads for recreational playgrounds like Dreamworld, Seaworld and Top Golf, and high-octane sports on the field (Brisbane Broncos) and the track (V8 Supercars).
Proudly Brisbane based, Leon's stamped his voice on the Sunshine State for big clients like the Queensland Government, Energex, and all seven of Queensland's top 7 universities, including UQ, QUT and Griffith University campuses. Expanding nationally, he's brought campaigns to life for Aussie institutions Woolworths, Optus, and Oz Lotto, and going truly global, Leon's voice has been tapped for enormous worldwide brands including Hewlett Packard, Aramco, Oral-B, Nespresso and Amazon Prime Video.
