Sunday we headed to the Gold Coast to support Shannon at her Special Olympics swim meet! 🏊‍♀️💙 We’re so incredibly proud of her—she smashed all three of her personal bests! 🥳👏

Last week 🎉✨

Shannon made delicious banana choc-chip muffins 🧁🍫 and Cody whipped up some mini quiches 🥧😋 Cody also practised an important life skill by learning how to write a cover letter 📄✍️ Karl and I joined in to help with the cooking and showed them how to follow recipes properly 📖👩‍🍳 We all went shopping for the ingredients too, giving them a great chance to practise budgeting and money skills 🛒💰❤️

We had such a great day out at Opals Down Under 💎 We found so many beautiful gems and treasures, then finished it off with a lovely 1.5km walk around Centenary Lakes.

We enjoyed a healthy lunch together… and of course, couldn’t resist a sneaky ice cream 🍦
