From Daylesford to CBR… a story shared!

A beautiful delivery arrived at dce today, continuing a connection made at the recent Business Events Victoria (BEV) Showcase in Canberra.

It was a pleasure meeting Larissa Wolf-Tasker & hearing the story of the iconic Lake House Daylesford - a destination her family has nurtured for more than four decades. Today, Larissa very kindly sent me a copy of Three Decades On – Lake House & Daylesford: People, Stories & Recipes From A Place We Love, by acclaimed chef, author & Lake House co-founder Alla Wolf-Tasker AM.

Part cookbook, part memoir & part love letter to Daylesford, the book celebrates the people, produce, creativity & sense of place behind this renowned Victorian destination.

From acclaimed dining & luxury accommodation to spa & wellness, art, beautiful weddings, private celebrations & corporate events, Lake House Daylesford is a wonderful example of how food, landscape, design & hospitality can come together to create a truly memorable experience.

Thank you Larissa for such a thoughtful gift & for bringing a little piece of Lake House to us here in Canberra.

A huge congratulations to local Canberra artist Eryn Marshall & her mum / creative collaborator Cheryl Marshall on Young at Heart - a colourful, honest & conversation starting exhibition exploring the experiences of women through midlife.

And while the exhibition may have closed, there’s still a way to take a little piece of Young at Heart home with you.

The 2026 Young at Heart Exhibition Tees were created as a limited edition keepsake, designed to carry a little of the colour, creativity & spirit of the experience long after the gallery doors have closed.
