Read that again. Slower.

Because how many times have you taken advice from someone who has never built what you’re building. Never left what you’re trying to leave. Never chosen themselves the way you’re trying to choose yourself.

And then wondered why the directions didn’t work.

They weren’t lying to you. They just don’t know that road. They’ve never been on it.

Not everyone deserves a seat at the table where you make your biggest decisions. That’s not cold — that’s clarity.

The people who get to speak into your life should have the receipts. Or at minimum — the courage to say “I don’t know, but I believe in you anyway.”

Everything else is just noise dressed up as advice.

Protect your path.

If you’re reading this — I want to make a mess with you.

Not romantic. Just real.

I want the 11pm voice note that starts with “okay don’t judge me but—” I want to be the person you text when it actually goes wrong, not after you’ve already processed it and made it sound okay.

I want the ugly version of the story. Before you figured out the lesson. While it still hurts and makes no sense and you don’t know what you’re supposed to do with it.

Because somewhere along the way we all started performing for each other and I’m over it.

I miss my friends.

Not their highlight reel. Them.

The tired them. The scared them. The “I don’t know if I’m doing any of this right” them.

That’s who I’m showing up for.

So if you’ve been holding something — put it down here. With me. I’m not going anywhere.

Okay but why are you still playing small like God is on Centrelink.

You were not built for “just enough.” You were not designed for scraps. You were not put here to ask for a little bit of wiggle room and then be grateful when someone throws you crumbs.

The audacity to want MORE is not greed. It’s obedience.

More money. More peace. More doors. More joy. More tables where YOUR name is already on the chair.

The universe is not running out. It is not rationing. It is not looking at your request going “hmm, that feels like a lot for someone like her.”

That’s just you. That’s the version of you that was taught to shrink.

The House of Influence doesn’t do shrinking.

So what are you actually asking for? Because I promise the ceiling you think exists… is a Post-it note. And it’s time to rip it down.
