All of this material has been diverted from landfill.
In Australia annually we send 100’s of tonnes of this stuff to mixed waste dumps,

Custom Signage Brisbane owner Adam Templar has been championing sustainability and addressing waste problems across Brisbane for over 27 years. ♻️

He collects leftover signs and signage materials to reuse for new signs, rescuing lots of waste from landfill and giving them new life.

“The larger companies instruct their staff to put that material aside and call me up once a month usually. I’ll bring it back here ready to use on something else,” Mr Templar said.

Diverted from landfill:
We made and installed these carpark signs this week for Hartley's Body Corporate Management
The panels are reused sign sheet with new vinyl cut graphics and they were only removed from a shopfront in Canungra the week earlier and are now on their second life as another sign in Mitchelton Qld.

ACM panels diverted from landfill and a used A frame diverted from scarp metal:

Used A frames can often be easily refurbished, repainted and repaired with new faces added.

This A frame for Sauna Cult Redcliffe has come up almost looking brand new.

Mudjimba Community Garden have made an ethical choice for this signage project by reusing an ACM panel for their new printed sign face.

We have constructed and installed a new freestanding steel frame for the sign face also.

Whilst government on all 3 levels are continuing to consume new imported products for signage, entities like Mudjimba Community garden are setting an example by making simple and informed choices about what they spend on.
