I have a secret that I’d like to share with you.

The machine in this photo fabric and turns it into padding that is used in houses all around .

At ’s we can recycle your old and or here in Australia- right now!

This machine is part of an amazing production line - at the beginning of the process fabric is fed into a conveyor belt and shredded into tiny pieces, it then makes its way through a heating process and is combined with a bonding agent, it gets to the machine pictured and is weighed and measured to ensure the matting is produced at the desired weight based on end use.

So, now you know my secret. Would you like to know more? Do you have a giant pile of old you would like to move on to a better place?

Selby's is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team at our Dandenong South warehouse.

Main tasks of this position are:

• Sewing of vinyl and polyester fabrics
• Operation of industrial sewing machines
• Maintaining quality finishes

To be successful in this position you must have:

• Previous industrial sewing machine experience in signage, motor trimming, canvas goods or blind manufacturing
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Able to understand written and oral instructions
• Eye for quality and attention to detail
• Willing to learn new skills and be trained in other aspects of the business
