Sunday breakfast plans? We’ve got you ☕️

Five Spice at Courtyard by Marriott Darwin at Courtyard by Marriott isn’t just for hotel guests — their buffet breakfast (and all day dining) is open to everyone, every day.

Bring the family for a relaxed weekend breakfast, or keep it in mind during the week when you need breakfast, good coffee and a comfortable spot to open the laptop and get some work done.

Make sure you hit the congee station (one of our favourites), and don’t skip their morning drinks menu — cold foam coffees, matcha and more. Definitely worth trying 🍵☕️

And with Father’s Day coming up, breakfast with Dad sounds like a pretty good plan. 👀

Wok and roll asian cuisine berrimah in Berrimah was one of those places. The housemade dumplings were an easy favourite, followed very closely by a seriously good bowl of laksa.

And can we talk about the iced tea? 😂 Served in these cute little bags, ready to grab and go. We tried tropical and peach and loved the whole idea.

If you haven’t been before, add this little Berrimah spot to your list. We love being able to share places like this and hopefully send a few new faces through their doors ❤️

Part 2 of eating our way around Darwin Festival ✨

One of our favourite things about Festival time is that you never really need a plan. Wander in, follow the smells, go back for the dish you’ve been thinking about since last year… or order something you’ve never tried before.

This time we did a bit of both — favourites from Hanuman Darwin, sweet and sticky pork skewers from , new flavours from christines_exotic_eats and our first Sri Lankan hoppers from Ella Restaurant | Darwin.

And then there was Hanuman’s black rice brûlée. We may need a third visit before Festival ends purely for that. 😂

This might be one of our favourite ways to spend a night out in Darwin 🍷✨

We recently joined Novotel Darwin CBD for a beautiful evening of food and wine pairings in collaboration with Corryton Burge Wines. Three thoughtfully curated courses, perfectly paired wines, and stories behind each pour shared by Grant from Corryton Burge made for such a lovely night.

And because we couldn’t talk about all that wine without sharing some with you… 🍾 we’re giving away a bottle of Corryton Burge Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay!

Birthday dinner called for somewhere we hadn’t tried before 🇬🇷

After thinking way too hard about where in Darwin we still hadn’t been, we settled on Yots Greek Taverna — and we’re so glad we did.

We ordered a bit of everything, but the saganaki was definitely a favourite. Golden, salty cheese served sizzling hot with chickpeas alongside… so good. The moussaka was another winner, especially that ridiculously crispy top 🤤

The cocktails were delicious, the food was great and sitting there overlooking Cullen Bay Marina made it such a nice spot for a birthday dinner.

Safe to say, it won’t be our last visit.

Three years of eating our way through Darwin Festival and it’s still one of our favourite events of the year. 🧡✨

There’s just something about Civic Park in August — the lights, the bamboo installations, live music, people everywhere and, of course, SO much good food.

We started our night with fluffy bao from Bamboo Lounge, worked our way through the stalls and found a definite favourite in the elote + nachos from Sanchos, paired with their non-alcoholic Mexican Mule 🌽

Then dessert, obviously. Trampoline Gelato’s Festival special, the Sunset Swirl — mango and vanilla with a honey swirl🍦

And somehow… we’ve only covered about HALF the food vendors 😂 Part two?
