A beautiful morning for a drone test. ☀️

We headed down to Curl Curl Beach recently to put our new DJI Mavic 4 Pro through its paces and see what we could capture with its three lenses.

Can’t wait to put it to work on some upcoming projects this month. 🤩

It was great to get out in the sun last week and hear what the UNSW Estate Management team have been working on across campus.

Outdoor shoots can look simple, but controlling the light is often one of the biggest challenges.

For this setup, we used a flag to cut direct sun, then brought in a bounce to add softer light and shape to the face. It is a versatile setup and a great way to work in bright conditions.

A good setup is not just about how it looks. It also helps keep the person on camera comfortable, relaxed and able to enjoy the experience.

Happy International Day of Peace! 🕊️

To mark the day, we jumped on the tools to create this cute little paper dove animation. ❤️

What better way to soak up the sunny weather than spending some quality time with Dad this Sunday. ☀️

The best gift you can give is your time, but whatever the day brings, don’t forget to give Dad a call. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day!

Behind the scenes at the 2026 Mallesons Digital Future Summit. 🎥

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been on the road filming a series of live panel discussions across Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, exploring some of the big issues shaping our digital future.

Eight sessions. Three cities. Plenty of cameras, and some pretty epic views from above the clouds along the way.

A little before and after from our latest shoot for Science

There's always plenty happening behind the camera, but the goal is always the same: create something that feels bespoke, polished and effortless on screen.

When should you use a paper roll?

When you want a clean, polished background that adds colour, supports your brand, and keeps the frame simple enough for text, icons or graphics.

That’s exactly what we did for this shoot with the team at UNSW Innovation Hub.

Fun setup. Great result. 🙌

From BTS to final result: a quick walkthrough of our latest interview shoot for .

A simple set-up, existing lighting carefully wrangled (with the help of a trusty bin bag) and a final grade to bring it all together.
