At a certain point, doing your own marketing stops being effective…
Not because you’re doing it “wrong” but because of how you’re doing it.
Most business owners try to fit marketing around everything else.
In between clients.
In between admin.
At the end of the day when there’s not much energy left.
And the problem isn’t effort, it’s that marketing needs:
- consistency
- direction
- time to actually think about what you’re doing
Not just “getting something up”.
When those things aren’t there, your content becomes reactive instead of intentional.
You post when you remember.
You create based on what feels easy in the moment.
You don’t have space to step back and look at the bigger picture.
And that’s when your brand starts to feel slightly disconnected…
even if your business is doing well behind the scenes.
There’s usually a point where the shift isn’t
“how do I do this better?”
It’s
“should I still be the one doing this at all?”
