Hi everyone,

I’ll keep this simple.

I’m Rod Fernandez - web developer, AI systems builder, and co-founder of AI Collab.

I’ve been writing code since the 80s, starting with Applesoft BASIC and Pascal, then moving into full stack development through the early web. I’ve been building websites and digital systems since the 90s, long before most of the tools we use today existed.

Over the past few years, I’ve gone deep into AI - not just using it, but building with it properly. Alongside my partner Kim, we’ve spent thousands of hours developing real-world AI solutions that actually get used in businesses.

What I do today:

• Build high-conversion websites designed to generate leads, not just look good• Design and deploy AI voice agents (receptionists, quoting systems, booking flows)• Create automation systems that plug into CRMs and operational workflows• Structure websites and content for Answer Engine Optimisation (so businesses show up in AI-driven search)• Develop custom tools and internal AI systems for businesses

Most of my work is with service businesses and trades - helping them move from “just having a website” to having a system that brings in and handles work.
