Behind this hive is a human – and it’s about time she said hello!
Hi, I’m Bianca, but you can call me B 🐝
I’ve worn a lot of hats (and uniforms) in my time – from picking cherries in the Huon Valley to pouring pints at Hobart institutions like The Ball & Chain Grill, T42 and the Telegraph. I’ve worked across hospitality, corporate, community and creative sectors, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that every space has its own rhythm.
These days, my ‘day job’ is with NAB, where I’ve spent over a decade helping leaders find better ways of working. Along the way I’ve coached, consulted, and helped deliver large-scale projects and national Pride events – all while moonlighting as a marketing and events all-rounder in Hobart’s arts scene.
I started The Bumblebee because I wanted to take everything I’ve learned – about people, purpose and storytelling – and use it to help others make an impact. Whether it’s a café owner finding their audience, a local creative growing their side hustle, or a non-profit spreading their message, I’m all in.
I’m passionate about inclusion, kindness and doing work that means something. I’m a serial over-committer, but I wouldn’t have it any other way – because I believe passion is contagious, and that’s exactly the kind of energy worth sharing.
Think The Bumblebee could help you, or someone in your circle? Tag them, share this, or just say hi – I'd love to chat 🩷🧡
