Pilbara Ports handled ~81% of Australia’s iron ore trade in 2024-25.
Numbers like that are often spoken about in tonnes, trade and industry impact. But in Hedland, they also come back to people.
The local businesses.
The teams.
The suppliers.
The families.
The people who show up, do the work and keep the region moving.
More than 400 businesses are part of the PHCCI network, and earlier this month, we had the chance to spend time with some of the people behind it.
As a Gold Sponsor, Impact Digi joined Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce Industry members, sponsors and local businesses at the VIP Corporate Sponsor Night.
It was a good reminder of how much happens in the conversations around the room. The local updates, the introductions, the familiar faces, and the stories you do not always see online.
That context shapes the way we work.
When we support Pilbara businesses with marketing, content and strategy, we are not just thinking about what looks good on a screen or in a tender document. We are thinking about the people behind the business, the place they are part of, the work happening on the ground, and how that story can be shared in a way that feels clear, useful and genuine.
Thank you to PHCCI for bringing Hedland’s business community together, and to everyone we caught up with on the night.
