Today, on ANZAC Day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice and service of all Australians who served.

We also acknowledge the special role South Australians played — from the young men who left our towns, farms and suburbs to serve overseas, to the families and communities at home who carried the weight of war with quiet strength.

From Gallipoli to more recent conflicts, South Australians have served with courage, mateship and devotion.
