Yoga Bunnies - A Limited Edition 2023 Chiwolfmother Collection of activewear perfect for yoga and other workouts. Designed by Carissa Buckley Design for my Fashion Label Chiwolfmother.

I use a high quality print on demand service - this ensures a limited run as well as zero fashion waste and zero water used in the sublimation process - all round great for the environment!

Yoga Bunnies includes a cropped windbreaker, yoga leggings, crop top, crop jumper and a matching yoga mat. The yoga leggings feel like a 2nd skin - so soft and silky and keep great shape and have a high waist that never pinches. The cropped jumper is a cotton-poly blend that feels deliciously warm and soft!

From a photo I took of BamBam running on the beach I sketched a drawing of him and then transferred it into Adobe Illustrator to make it into a scalable Vector Graphic.
I then developed a brand logo and product ChiBites to go along with the graphic of him.
I love how this turned out, and I love how I applied galaxy layer masks to make him extra! Which he is in real life; full of charisma, joy and love!

The objective of this design was to create an approachable and serene book cover that encourage women of all ages, interested in their relationship with nature and her cycles, to grab the book off the shelf or coffee table, through carefully crafted elements that mesh perfectly with each other - the typography, illustrations and photography.

The image of an ocean current ebbing and flowing on the rocks works in direct correlation to the name of the book, Ebb & Flow. Whilst the illustrated figures demonstrate the same motions/currents through the human body; pulling back/recoiling and moving forward/blossoming. The transparency between the illustrated figures and the landscape within the photography symbolise the ever-present connection we as humans have with nature and Mother Earth.

Do these things inspire you too? What do you fill your life with that gives you the most joy? Here are more of the things I like to enjoy...

I got a buzz putting these 2 typefaces together Tan Astoria & New Hero and seeing how they interact. I utilising varied weight, upper/lower case, for New Hero. These typefaces make up my brand identity and I love the light/ heavy/ ornate contrasts between them. Here I play with weight, scale, leading and value...but there is still repetition and rhythm, which establishes unity and flow in the overall design.

Nature offers me infinite inspiration. Perhaps from my own Personal Brand Identity this is obvious! As it was designed to be! That is, to let people know who I am as an individual and what service you will receive when we work together. It hints at my personality, sets my brand tone of voice, so you know who you are going to be interacting with.

Let me get into some of the design decisions with you...

- My logo is inspired by the sacred geometry of the Flower of Life, spelling out my initials CB.

- I have a flower and a female dancing figure as a graphic elements within my design system.

- The colour system I chose of pink, green and yellow correspond nicely with nature and I also chose these colours for this symbolism:

PINK: The Flower, Emotive, Heart Centred, Feminine, Kind, Uninhibited
GREEN: The Leaf, Nature, Harmonious, Balancing, Graceful Yet Strong
YELLOW: The Sun, Ever Present, Happiness, Warmth, Vibrant

These things all say about my brand - kind and strong; there is strength, resilience, know-how, power, a sense of self knowledge, timelessness and beauty within. All things are connected and the relationship between elements creates meaning.
