Being involved in the Ride in Shorts for Leah Awareness Campaign was a real pleasure. Thanks so much Ride in Shorts for Leah and Founder Phil Smith for this lovely token of appreciation.

More importantly though is what this campaign is about and that is the dangers of Asbestos. Leah was diagnosed with Mesothelioma Cancer, one that doesn't get a lot of exposure like many cancers.

YOUR PERSONAL INVITATION TO ATTEND The prestigious Woollam Mackay Art on Show Awards and Exhibition. 🎨

Hi everyone, for local and interstate artists, myself included, this is an event we are super excited about and one that gives us an opportunity to share our art with the wonderful Mackay community.

I've been heavily involved with the committee designing the graphics for this event over several months, so it's great to see it all coming together and I'm so proud to have been involved in this creative endeavor showcasing art in our local region.

I've had several people ask for details on the event, and if you haven't seen our flyers that are in circulation all over Mackay, here they are:
WHEN: OFFICIAL OPENING NIGHT - FRI 1ST AUGUST
WHERE: UPPER LEVEL 500 PAVILION, MACKAY SHOWGROUNDS
TIME: 6PM
EXHIBITION: 10 AM TO 4 PM DAILY - 2 TO 4 OF AUGUST

If you would like to attend the fabulous opening night you can purchase your tickets via the link below or you can purchase at the door on the night.
I've attached the invitation and QR code that you can scan to go to purchase tickets also.

Tickets are available online at https://mackayartsociety.com.au/open-night-tickets/ or use the QR Code on the attached invitation or buy at the door.
$20/adult and $10/student or child.

If you are unable to attend the official opening evening here are the exhibition details for the following days:

So it's official!
Mackay Art Society Inc Art on Show Awards are now open for registration.

I had the wonderful job of creating this years graphic designs to be used to advertise this wonderful art celebration and will be creating some additional components as in-kind contributions to help with this amazing event.

Truly a project close to my heart.

This is shocking!! 😱😱

Well I can't quite believe it has been several months since I last posted on my page.
Normally I would self reprimand because I have been so slack, but I actually have a legitimate excuse...I promise. 😁

While I have been working with my graphic clients in the background, I have also undertaken an intensive Mastery course, which I am absolutely loving. 🎨

Now you are probably thinking what the heck has that got to do with ? For myself and a lot of digital designers, art, even organic art is an extension of our computer work, another outlet to express ourselves through our art.

This art program will, I believe, enhance my digital work on offer to my clients through my business here at Lotus and Lilly Designs.

In fact, I am working right now on a wonderful, super exciting graphic design project that is very much a passion of mine. ❤️
