I’m that teacher… the one who’ll happily pop on bunny ears and have a bit of fun with the kids 🐰☺️

But also the one who stops and asks…
“Do we actually know why we’re celebrating this?”

Last week we had some really interesting chats around Easter.
Some of the kids knew it was a Christian celebration… many didn’t.
We talked about how eggs symbolise new life.
Where the bunny idea came from.
And how over time, things can shift from meaning… into marketing.

I think it’s so important that our kids understand the story behind things, not just follow along because everyone else is.
That’s something I’ve always been passionate about in the classroom.
Helping kids think, question, and understand the bigger picture.

And in a funny way… it’s also something that’s carried over into what I do outside of teaching now.
I still get to educate, support, and guide…
But also help other women, especially educators, create a way to earn alongside what they’re already doing.

Because when we support the people raising and teaching our kids,
everything flows better.

It really does take a village 💛

Quick heads up ☺️

It turns out Facebook has done something a bit strange with my business inbox over the past few weeks. When some people try to message me it shows “This person is unavailable on Messenger” and I appear as “Facebook User”.

So if you’ve clicked one of my posts or ads recently wanting the info about creating income online alongside teaching and thought I was ignoring you… I promise I’m not! 🤦‍♀️

If that was you, just send me a quick message here on my personal page https://www.facebook.com/gabby.bulger and I’ll make sure you get the info.

There are so many educators looking for something flexible alongside their current roles right now and I’d hate for anyone to miss out because of a cheeky Facebook glitch.

A few years ago, if someone mentioned “online business” to me…
I’d just tune out.

It sounded salesy. Complicated. Risky.
A bit “not for people like me.”
So I ignored it.

I was busy teaching, raising three boys, managing my health, just trying to keep everything steady.

I didn’t have time to understand something that challenged what I thought I knew about money and work.

But then something changed.
I realised my job and my health weren’t guaranteed.

And suddenly, the idea I’d been leaning away from… felt worth leaning into.

I didn’t jump in blindly.
I asked questions.
I watched.
I listened.

I let myself feel a bit silly not knowing the terminology.

And here’s what I discovered:
Underneath all the noise, there’s a real shift happening.

More women building income online.
More educators creating backup plans.
More families choosing options instead of pressure.

The online space isn’t slowing down.
It’s accelerating.

And the women who are willing to understand it, instead of dismiss it, are positioning themselves differently for the next decade.

I used to ignore the conversation.
Now I’m part of it.
Not because I wanted to quit teaching.
Not because I was burnt out.

But because I didn’t want to be the one who leaned out of something simply because I didn’t understand it.

What are you leaning away from right now… that might actually deserve a closer look?

Australia 🇦🇺
The lucky country.

Australia Day always gives me that reminder to feel grateful.

We’re so lucky to live in a country where our kids are safe, educated, and we have opportunities that so many others around the world don’t.

To all the teaching mums…
I’m thinking of you as the school year kicks off tomorrow.
Big smiles, strong coffee.. you'll be fine! 😅

Wishing you a great year ahead!!

More and more women will start an online business in 2026…
but not for the reasons most people assume.

It’s not about working harder,
and it’s definitely not about becoming someone else online.

It’s about backing themselves in a world that’s changing fast. The Digital Era is here.
Are you going to be one of those who gets left behind?

Here are 7 reasons I genuinely believe we’ll see this change in how women choose to earn 👇
(And if a few of these hit close to home, you’re not alone 💛)

Most of us were taught that one job equals security.

Work hard, do the right thing, stick with what’s sensible.

But lately… it doesn’t always feel that way anymore, does it?

Cost of living keeps rising, life keeps changing, and for so many families, relying on single incomes feels more fragile than it used to.

I believed a lot of the myths in these slides once too, especially the idea that online income wasn’t real or safe.

What I’ve learned is that some of the biggest risks don’t come from trying something new, they come from staying put when things no longer feel stable.

Let's dispel a few common myths around online income and stability.

“Your life does not get better by CHANCE, it gets better by CHANGE.”
– Jim Rohn

That quote reminds me daily that we’re all capable of rewriting our story… with the right mindset, guidance, and community 💛

If you’re new here, hi!! I’m Gabby ☺️
Mum of three, part-time primary teacher, and mentor to women creating income online in a simpler, smarter way.

I’ve always loved teaching.
Helping kids grow, watching the lightbulb moments, being part of a school community. That part of me hasn’t changed.

But the reality eventually caught up.
Long days that weren’t really 9–3, growing expectations, constant pressure… and watching so many teachers around me feel exhausted and stuck, just counting down the years until retirement...

I didn’t want that to be my long-term story.
So I started looking for a Plan B.
Something I could build alongside teaching, not instead of life.

A way to create real financial stability, without being glued to my phone or burning myself out.
Then my health hit the skids, and I could no longer rely on working full-time.

That was my line-in-the-sand moment.
No more “I’ll deal with this later” or "one day".

Today, I run a flexible online business that fits into the pockets of my week, not the other way around.

What I love most about it has evolved over time:

✅️ Yes, the uncapped income matters. Income that isn’t capped by hours, with no fees, quotas, or pressure, and that can grow long-term.

✅️ But I also genuinely love the health side of this business. We partner with powerful, medical-grade wellness product/s that benefit the whole family.
Because let’s be honest... stress, busyness, and constant 'to-do' lists are waaaay too normal these days.

✅️ And I’m proud to be aligned with a family-oriented, community-driven company that’s been around for over 50 years.
Not a passing fad, not a trend... but a solid, trusted foundation.

Health. AI. Social media.
None of these are going anywhere.

So instead of feeling left behind, I chose to position myself ahead, using simple systems that work quietly in the background, bringing interested women to me, without chasing, posting constantly, or living online.
I’d much rather be off enjoying real life.

Now I get to help other mums and educators create their own back-up plan too. 💕
One that supports their family, their health, and their future, without sacrificing their sanity or their weekends.

If you’ve been thinking, “I know something needs to change”... this might be your sign.

DM me if you’d like to see how it all works.
Clear info, honest conversation, no fluff.

“The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.”

Tonight we watched our two youngest boys proudly receive both Diligence and Academic Awards at their school presentation. Their hard work, consistency and determination really showed tonight, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort they put in to help them achieve this.

A huge heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff at Dundula School for believing in them, supporting them, and always bringing out their very best. What a special night for our boys and for us as parents.

Ever noticed how women have always found creative ways to bring in extra income for their families?

I think back to the classics…
Nutrimetics, Avon, Tupperware, Lorraine Linen, Arbonne, Intimo, Body Shop…
Every mum, aunty, sister, neighbour… we all knew someone giving one of them a go.

Women have always juggled.
Always adapted.
Always tried to find a way to support the family, without sacrificing being with the family.

But let’s be honest…
Those old-school options were low-ticket, high effort, and tiny return.
So much time away from home for $20 here, $40 there.
And how many women did we ever see “make it big” doing those gigs?
Pretty much none.

Times have changed though.
And thank goodness.

Now there’s a totally different way to do it...
✨ high-ticket affiliate marketing ✨

Instead of selling low-priced items that need dozens of sales…
You simply partner with a company you believe in, share high-quality health products that genuinely help families…
and you can earn real income without sacrificing hours and hours of your life.

Because honestly…
We mums all want the same things, don’t we?

More time.
More choices.
More income.
Better health for our families.

And we deserve a way to do it that doesn’t burn us out.

(Also… I’m definitely thinking about posting one of those vintage housewife pics - dress, heels, vacuum…
The whole thing 😂
Might be the perfect reminder of how far we’ve come!)

What are you bending over backwards to do to support your family? Is it working?!

This is the question I now ask myself anytime I feel stuck...

A psychologist with 40 years of practice once shared that there's one sentence that makes people realise their true purpose instantly.

How to overcome fear of failure

1. He said: “When someone claims they don’t know what they want, they’re not confused — they’re scared.”
So he’d ask each client to close their eyes and imagine:
If there was no need for money, no fear of failure, and no one to impress — what would you do tomorrow?

2. His next step was simple: say out loud,
“I CHOOSE NOT TO....”
No, I can’t. No, I don’t have time.
I choose not to.
“I choose not to write the book.”
“I choose to stay where I am.”
The mind freezes — honesty has that effect.
One client told him later: “When I said ‘choose,’ the excuses disappeared.”

3. Then he’d ask, “If no one ever found out about your success, would you still want it?”
Most realised they were chasing applause, not purpose.
It’s painful, but freeing — to see which dreams are yours, and which are borrowed from people you wanted to please.

4. His method worked because it gave power back.
“If it’s truly your goal,” he said, “you’ll be willing to hurt for it.”
Not because pain is noble but because purpose outlives comfort.

5. “Real purpose,” he said, “isn’t what brings pleasure — it’s what you can’t not do.”
Once people reached that point, envy disappeared. Doubt disappeared.
There was only calm.
A single sentence — but it rewrites lives, because it returns what the world quietly steals: honesty with yourself.

When was the last time you said, “I choose not to,” and really meant it?
