What a local duo! Their craft is bikes and their charm is smiles :)

These two lovely Kiwis have brought Brunswick their craft and charm since 2014. It all started in the East* but today is at the very heart of 3056 on 261 Albert St (Access via Wilkinson Street).

Ann and Bruce McGregor are living legends.

They are founding members of a community organisation that is largely responsible for protecting, re-developing, and maintaining our beloved Creek.

Ann and Bruce have been through countless adventures together since they moved to Brunswick back in 1976.

The challenges, obstacles, and hurdles the Friends of Merri Creek have sorted are many. To name a few:

🌳They saved the creek from being concreted and becoming a freeway!

🏞️ They built the continuous pathway that links suburbs, community members, and private organisations.

📢 They are a living example of successful grassroots community campaigns.

Their impact is tangible, continuous, and designed to last. Become a member today L I N K IN B I O.

Sam and his twin brother, Sultan, learnt their craft from their father, and now make Lebanese sweets for every occasion at 648 Sydney Road.

Georgina Lewis is the current manager of Tempo Rubato, a live music venue in Brunswick.
