A good knit is one of those pieces I always come back to, especially as the weather cools down.

I tend to reach for knits that have a beautiful texture and a slightly relaxed fit so they work across both casual and more elevated looks.

This one is from .official, a Melbourne based label and is 100% cotton, which makes it super comfy. I always to go for knits with natural fibres because they last and are more breathable.

How to choose the right jacket (so you don’t waste your money).

Not all jackets work, even if they’re beautiful on the hanger.

I always come back to three things:
cut, colour and versatility.

If the fit is off, it will throw off your proportions.
If the colour doesn’t work with your wardrobe, you won’t reach for it.
And if it’s not versatile, it will sit there unworn.

The right jacket doesn’t just look good, it makes your entire wardrobe easier to style.
