This time 23 years ago we were in London for Fierce Festival - an epic fest with a bunch of our Aussie mates and so many more!

Whitt’s guitar was broken from the flight and he ended up borrowing which was also a Gibson SG - turns out her guitar was also broken but playable (thanks Adalita 😅) - Neither survived the 90s touring very well 😂

Can’t wait to be back in London in a couple of weeks for our first EU tour in a very long time!

Music Victoria is calling for EOIs from venue operators, licensees, bookers, and venue managers to join the Victorian Live Music Venues Roundtable, a dedicated forum working to strengthen and support Victoria’s live music venue sector.

This is an opportunity to share your on-the-ground knowledge and help shape policy, regulation, and initiatives that affect venues across the state.

EOIs open: Monday 2 June
EOIs close: Monday 23 June

🎉 ANNOUNCEMENT: Fred Negro Appointed Head Coach of the Rockdogs 🎉

We’re proud to welcome Melbourne artist and musician Fred Negro as Head Coach of the Rockdogs for the 2025 Reclink Community Cup.

Fred’s contribution to the Cup spans decades - as a former Rockdogs captain, illustrator, performer and long-time supporter. He’s also the creative force behind Melbourne’s cult comic strip PUB and frontman of iconic bands like I Spit on Your Gravy and The Peptides.

To get Australian music heard by Australian radio audiences, three critical changes must be adopted:

1. Local Music in Prime Time.
To reach Aussie audiences Australian music should be played when people are actually listening! The code must ensure local music is played during peak listening hours.

2. More Aussie music. Bigger impact.
Local radio should play more local music: no excuses. If not 25% across the board, then at least enforce the rules we already have.

3. Champion fresh and local voices.
Redefine “new music” so fresh Aussie sounds get a spin. More new tracks mean the Code will better serve young and diverse local audiences.

We need people to speak up!
