This optical illusion cold be the most unusual I've seen. It's from cognitive psychologist Donald Hoffman's brilliant book "The Case Against Reality." -a deep scientific dive into how human perception evolved.
In the image, I promise you the two rectangles on the hat are EXACTLY the same Pantone color. As someone who has spent actual years of his life looking at colors in Photoshop... I swore this was absolutely wrong until I covered all the other rectangles with my fingers.....

I’m recently back from filming and presenting at a conference for Home Video Studio Network, an excellent nationwide video services company in the USA.
It isn’t often you get to spend a week practicing ones skills at a gorgeous resort, rubbing shoulders with editing legends such as Larry Jordan, and teaming up with brilliant fellow videographer/photographer Chad Godfrey to cover the main event.

Plantation House, a luxury bed and breakfast on the Mornington Peninsula, recently updated its rooms and invited me to photograph this beautiful venue once more. Capturing the essence of such a gorgeous destination requires a keen eye for detail and sophisticated accommodation photography techniques. I set up lighting to enhance each room’s mood, photographed the spaces from just the right angles to accentuate their features, and meticulously refined the images using the latest advanced software. The owners of Plantation House are delighted with the results.

Recently Melbourne based video technology company Atomos asked me to test out prototypes of their new highly versatile Sun Dragon lights. ..So we did a night video and photo shoot around Carlton. We were able to create some beautiful dramatic lighting using the Sun Dragons.
