Victoria’s Tourism Industry Supports Cowes to Stony Point Ferry Initiative

The Victoria Tourism Industry Council has praised Bass Coast Council’s support for a car ferry between Cowes and Stony Point, a key priority in VTIC's 2018 State Election recommendations launched last week.

VTIC Chief Executive Felicia Mariani said the car and passenger ferry was a vital element in the growth of tourism across Victoria, not just South Gippsland.

Bass Coast Shire Council and Destination Phillip Island - regional tourism board industry news must be congratulated for recognising the importance and ramifications of this project, not only for their region but for Victoria.
