I love getting creative with websites, graphics and videos. I started my first online business back in 2001, a bit by accident to be honest! It was an ecommerce store centered around the low carb diet, which was ju
st starting to gain popularity back then. I had to learn pretty fast, not just how to create a website which people would actually want to buy from, but also the ins and outs of finding overseas suppliers, importing food products into the UK and actually getting the website found on the internet. Thankfully, the business was successful and it allowed us to emigrate to Australia on a business visa and start a new life. I ran a completely different bricks and mortar business when we first came to Australia, which allowed us to gain our permanent Australian Citizenship. Since then I've been able to return to working from home, back on the internet. I've created several custom websites for local businesses, mainly using Wordpress, but I really like the creative side of video, involving various techniques including Powerpoint, Keynote, Whiteboard and Animation style videos. I'm now concentrating on product creation (mainly around videos/graphics) and dabbling in writing.
