As we gear up for the 2026 Port Stephens Car Show, please take note of the following road closures and event locations to help plan your day 👇

🛑 Road Closures
The following streets will be closed for the event:
• Stockton Street
• Magnus Street
• Government Road
• Teramby Road
• Victoria Parade
• Yacaaba Street

These closures will be in place to allow for a safe and exciting display of vehicles and activities throughout Nelson Bay.

👉 Please follow all signage and directions from event staff
👉 Local access will be maintained where possible
👉 Arrive early to secure the best viewing spots

What comes first—the chicken or the egg?

It’s a question we laugh at, but we live it every day.

“I’ll go to the gym once I’m a bit fitter.”
“I’ll start marketing when business picks up.”
“I’ll take action when I feel ready.”

But that’s the loop.

You don’t get fit then go to the gym.
You go to the gym because you’re not fit.
You don’t get leads then start marketing.
You create leads because you don’t have enough.

The outcome you want sits on the other side of the action you’re avoiding.

In business, this shows up everywhere. Owners double down on the same habits that got them stuck—waiting, hesitating, overthinking—while expecting a different result. More inactivity doesn’t fix a lack of momentum.

Breaking the cycle isn’t about perfect timing. It’s about doing the uncomfortable thing first.

Effort comes before results. Always.

So the real question isn’t chicken or egg.

It’s: are you willing to act before you feel ready?
