Today, we raised over $2.5K for the Cancer Council.

We heard stories from Sandy & Chloe about their personal experiences with cancer. There wasn't a dry eye in the house!

A huge thankyou to everyone who was involved, the raffle prize sponsors, the community who bought raffle tickets online, Mackenzie who captured our day, Brooke from The Cancer Council for being an extra set of hands, and to everyone who attended today!

Growing up on a farm in rural New South Wales instilled in me a deep respect for the land and a commitment to sustainability, which lies at the heart of everything I create. By incorporating eco-conscious practices and curating distinctive blooms, I ensure every design is as unique as the love story it celebrates.

My approach is deeply personal. I pride myself on uncovering each couple’s individuality and weaving that into sculptural, striking floral designs. With an expert eye for detail and a love for bold, contrasting colour palettes, I create arrangements that reflect your story and evoke timeless elegance. Every bouquet, centrepiece, and installation is tailored to harmonise with the mood, setting, and essence of your special day. Introducing our guest speaker Chloe Haynes.

Chloe Haynes is just 28 and one of the most kind-hearted teachers you’ll ever meet 💕 She’s dedicated her career to supporting kids with special needs, but this year life has thrown her the toughest challenges yet.

After the heartbreaking loss of her younger brother, Chloe has now been diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

She’s had to take indefinite leave from work and is facing huge costs while starting treatment, including egg freezing to protect her dream of becoming a mum one day 💪✨

Without an income, these next steps are overwhelming — but she’s facing it all with so much courage.

In 2022, Sandy took a brave step onto the stage as part of Stars of Newcastle, dancing her heart out to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council ⭐️✨ It was her way of honouring her dad while helping other families going through the same battle.
