Reminder: There are 8 new PHN initiatives for Allied Health practices.

The Primary Health Network (PHN) has rolled out 8 new initiatives to support practices in the region, spanning AI, digital marketing, HR and wellbeing.

These initiatives were shaped directly by feedback from the Sustainability and Viability Initiative (SAVI) for Allied Health assessment, so they reflect what practices in the region actually told PHN they needed.

[THE NAKED TRUTH] If AI wrote your homepage, your messaging isn't unique enough.

AI has made writing website copy faster than ever, but it has also exposed a problem that was already there.

Too many businesses sound exactly the same.

🫥 "We're passionate about what we do."
🫥 "We provide tailored solutions."
🫥 "We put our clients first."

Those statements could belong to almost any business, in almost any industry. They're not wrong, but they're not giving potential customers a reason to choose you either.

The businesses that stand out aren't the ones avoiding AI. They're the ones that have done the strategic work first. They know exactly who they help, what problems they solve and why they're different. AI simply helps them communicate that more efficiently.

If your website could swap logos with one of your competitors and the copy would still make sense, your messaging isn't doing its job.

Brightmore Kids is a luxury baby & children's boutique in Mosman NSW, bringing hard-to-find international labels to Australian families, in person and online.

For our Shopify VIP Day, the brief was simple but not easy: make the website feel as considered as the boutique. Their in-store experience is personal, warm and expert-led. The website needed to match it.

Some of what we accomplished in 10 exclusive hours:
🎨 Refreshed the homepage design to reflect the in-store feel
🛍️ Rebuilt key theme elements for a premium browsing experience
⚡ Cleaned up the backend for faster load times and easier management
📈 Set the foundations to convert more browsers into buyers

The result: A very happy client and a Shopify website that builds the same confidence online that keeps customers coming back to the boutique.

Here's what a discovery call with me actually looks like.

You book in for 30 minutes. Sometimes it runs for an hour, but who's counting! 😆 Before we speak, you'll get a short questionnaire, so the call starts already grounded in your business instead of starting from zero.

You don't need to have it all figured out before we chat. That's genuinely what the discovery call is for.

Then it's Zoom or phone, whichever you prefer, and we talk about what's actually not working and what's going well. We also look at where you want the business to be in three to five years, not just what needs fixing right now. Solve today's problem without that longer view, and you're often back here in eighteen months.

It's a two-way thing too. I'm working out if we're the right fit, same as you are. 🧐

By the end of the call, we should both have clarity, on your business and on what happens next. Sometimes that's a proposal. Sometimes it's a paid strategy session first, which comes off the project cost if we go ahead together. And sometimes, it's simply time to go away and think it over. There's no pressure to decide on the spot.

That's really it. A chance to think out loud with someone who's paying attention, and to walk away knowing more than you did going in.

There can be so much pressure to have all the answers.

To know exactly where your business is heading. To have the perfect plan. To make all the right decisions.

💡 The reality is that most businesses are figuring it out as they go.

Every project teaches us something. Every client shapes how we work. Every challenge helps us grow.

It's okay not to know exactly what the next five years look like. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is stay curious, keep learning and trust that each step is taking us where we need to go.
