This powder blue suit was thrifted for just $15 for the set and paired with simple black pointed boots, a black belt and a gorgeous bag I picked up from my Aunty at the Rag Pop-Up Markets. 🙌

Welcome to my new Colour Combo Series ✨

Starting with one of my favourite base colours… BROWN.

So many people default to black because they’re unsure what works with brown, but honestly, brown is one of the easiest and most versatile colours to style.

Some of my favourite pairings:
🤎 Choc Brown + Dusty rose / baby pink
🤎 Beige/Tan/Brown + Powder blue
🤎 Navy + tan
🤎 Chocolate brown + royal blue
🤎 Denim + mocha
🤎 Camel + soft blue-grey

Brown and blue are honestly BEST friends in every shade 🙌

The trick is to stop overthinking it and start playing with tones already sitting in your wardrobe.

I’ve been loving tonal dressing lately, and this burgundy/wine combination feels so rich, elevated and effortless for winter.

When in doubt, I would normally say wear black… BUT try this instead.🤍✨

Tonal dressing is one of the easiest ways to look instantly polished and elevated without overcomplicating your outfit.

Pull together similar tones from your wardrobe, then tie it all together with your accessories and hardware.

Think:
✔️ Gold jewellery
✔️ A belt
✔️ Sunglasses
✔️ Matching bag hardware
✔️ Shoes in a similar tone

The result is ffortless, luxe and put together 🙌

And while it’s not necessarily “colour”, creams and whites naturally soften and lighten the overall feel of an outfit beautifully while looking luxe. 🤍

Not every outfit needs to be fully dressed up or completely casual.🙌🖤

One of the biggest struggles my clients have is finding that in-between balance, when you want comfort, but still want to look polished and put together.
