As a business owner, you're laser-focused on your goals - and rightfully so!
But did you know that neglecting your rest could be sabotaging your success? 😵💫
Taking time to physically rest is not enough. Your mind, creativity, and emotions need to recharge too.
Be honest... When was the last time you took a social media break? Or spent time in nature? Not resting could lead to decreased productivity, poor decision making, weakened leadership and stagnant creativity.
So how can you make sure you are well-rested and setting yourself up for success? Some simple ways to incorporate productive rest into your routine can include:
- Doing a puzzle at night instead of watching tv
- Do some colouring-ins
- Spend time at the beach or go on a bush walk
- Journalling about your day
- Scheduling regular digital detoxes (for example, I have every Sunday scheduled as my digital detox)
- Read a book
- Do a meditation
- Do some gardening
