We’re excited to invite even more women to experience Yorke Peninsula Rural Women’s Day in 2026 - with a fresh new concept designed around connection, conversation and celebration.

Hosted at The Stables at Halcyon, this year’s event will move to a relaxed cocktail-style format, allowing more space to mingle, connect, explore and enjoy the afternoon experience together.

With capacity strictly limited to 200 guests, the event will feature inspiring conversations, regional food and wine, live music, creative activations, local makers and beautiful spaces to gather, celebrate and connect.

This is a celebration of rural women across generations - honouring leadership, resilience, creativity and community in a warm, stylish and uplifting setting.

Behind Yorke Peninsula’s 2025 Inaugural Rural Women’s Day Event Was a Powerful Purpose.

Members of the 2025 organising committee have proudly delivered Women’s Toiletry Care Packages to Yorketown, Maitland and Wallaroo Hospitals following the success of last year’s inaugural event at The Stables at Halcyon.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors and supporters, $9,500 was raised to create practical care packs for women facing unexpected hospital stays and urgent medical transfers to Adelaide — often without time to pack even the essentials.

Each hospital also received a $1,000 donation to support local patient care services.

The thoughtfully curated packs include pyjamas, toiletries, phone chargers, underwear, grip socks, puzzle books and other everyday essentials designed to provide comfort, dignity and reassurance during difficult times.

“This initiative was about ensuring the funds raised directly supported local women during vulnerable moments,” said organiser Natasha Mahar.

The initiative reflects the true spirit of Rural Women’s Day — connection, compassion and women supporting women across our region.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about working with a client to bring an idea to life — especially when it results in a memorable community event like Fire + Flour + Fiddles as part of the 2026 Tasting Australia program.

Created, planned and delivered by The Sparkle Biz in collaboration with The Stables at Halcyon, this event was designed to bring people together through great food, live music, warmth, connection and regional hospitality — all within the beautiful setting of this unique Yorke Peninsula venue.

Working alongside The Stables at Halcyon to help shape the vision and event experience was an absolute pleasure. Seeing guests gather around the fire pits, enjoy local flavours and soak up the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped to achieve from the very beginning.

Events like this are built on collaboration, creativity and a shared passion for showcasing regional destinations, supporting local business and creating meaningful experiences.

Proud of what was achieved through this partnership and grateful for the wonderful feedback received following the event.
