Hello Everyone.
Putting a face to the name and trying to be a little more transparent this year.
HUGE Thank you to everyone who has supported me, attended in-person workshops, purchased my online workshops or just been there as a lifeline when things became a little difficult.
Not all of you know - but I blew my life up in August 2025 in more ways than I could imagine.
After being severely injured in the UK during a dog sitting stint in Yorkshire and then running a 3 day gilding workshop in extreme pain (but still loving every second surrounded by wonderful old friends, new students who are now friends and supportive suppliers) plus liaising with my daughter in Australia to finalise the purchase of my new home here in Melbourne - took every bit of strength and resilience I could muster. I would not be here in Melbourne if it wasn’t for my incredible, amazing, wonderful daughter .and.peaches and I will forever be grateful for her love and support x
It’s been a massive shift and upheaval but for the better ..!! Especially after a very difficult start to 2025 with some “not so nice” people trying to do their best to discredit me and my business.
They say whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger and I think I have had my fair share over the years of being cast iron clad. So it’s time now to let down my guard, put down some roots and reap the benefit of many, many years of hard work, personal challenges as well as metal health issues.
I made a promise to my daughter that I would focus on getting my mental health in check and also keep fit so that I can continue to do what I love well into my old age.
We all are trying to make sense of this f*^+ked up world we live in and there has never been a better time to throw out old hurts and regrets, prioritise your health, focus on being a decent kind human and maybe then there will be the conscious shift in humanity that we all need.!!
To my friends in the USA know that I am thinking of you and wish you peace and safety as you navigate this year.
Stay true and be safe xx
