This was one of those jobs that I throughly enjoyed collaborating with my dear friend Carly from Carntyne Santas.
The people over at Insignia Company did a great job and they were really helpful getting these caps to Roma before Christmas so the Evans family could give them out as special Christmas gifts.

Some projects you quote for. Some you choose to donate your time to.

This was one of those yes projects.

Pedal It Forward is run by my friends Dino & Annie, who work quietly behind the scenes giving unwanted bikes a second life. Bikes from the dump, donations from locals, bikes others no longer need, repaired and passed on so someone else can ride them again.

I was happy to donate my design time to this one. Not because I can do it for everyone, but because this cause aligns with my values and the impact is real.

Huge respect to people who put practical kindness into action, fixing, sharing, and caring for their community.

I get asked a lot what I actually do, so here it is.

I help regional businesses, organisations and individuals with graphic design, social media management and web design, with a strong focus on making sure their needs are met.

That might be a cattle stud, a photographer, a small online shop, a local committee, or someone building something from home. The common thread is wanting practical, ongoing support without having to figure everything out alone.

Australia Day always gives me pause.

It’s a day to acknowledge the many men and women who fought and sacrificed so we could live in a country with the freedoms and opportunities we often take for granted. That legacy matters, and it deserves respect.

At the same time, it’s also a moment to reflect honestly on our shared history. Australia is made up of people from many backgrounds, cultures, and stories. Some are proud, some are painful, and all of them form part of who we are today.

My hope is that we continue to move forward with humility and unity. That we focus on what we have in common, listen with respect, and choose to see one another as neighbours. We don’t need to agree on everything to treat each other with dignity.

Today, I’m grateful for this country, the land we live on, and the chance we all have to keep shaping Australia into a place that values understanding, kindness, and community.

Social media alone can be limiting for a business.

It doesn’t always give potential customers a clear picture of who you are, what you offer, or what makes your business different. It also puts your content and reach at the mercy of an algorithm you don’t control.

A website gives you a space that’s fully yours. Somewhere your branding, personality, and information can live properly, and where customers can find what they need without having to scroll or message.

I build websites for small businesses and can hand them over so you’re able to manage updates yourself, without being locked into ongoing designer fees.
