This week we were lucky enough to attend Australian Association of Social Marketing's Fostering Behaviour Change event with leader in the field, Dr. Doug McKenzie-Mohr at VicHealth.

The workshop delved into community-based social marketing strategies to overcoming the barriers to behaviour change. Dr McKenzie-Mohr shared the tools needed to motivating community action, as well as best-practice principles for effective work in the field. A wholly inspiring workshop with like-minded thinkers.

We are stoked to announce that our Employ Their Ability campaign for the
Department of Social Services has been shortlisted for Best Government Sponsored Campaign at the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards!

The 12 month campaign worked to drive employer demand for people with disability. 1 in 5 Australians live with disability yet, only 53% of those are participating in work. Our work connected hiring managers to the necessary resources and practical advice on disability and employment. Learn more about our toolkit here: https://bit.ly/2H2sGpf

Gender stereotypes and biases have long steered women away from science related fields. With today being International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we recognise the critical, yet under-represented role women and girls play in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). According to the UN, less than 30 per cent of researchers worldwide are women and only around 30 per cent of all female students select STEM-related fields in higher education. 🤯

Championing and better reflecting diversity in STEM is crucial. Our recent campaign with the Department of Education & Training, Victoria worked to attract more diverse STEM-related students to consider a career in teaching. Check out our TV commercial below.
