It’s finally here! 🎉 Holidays, sunshine, surf, barbecues, and endless weeks (well, maybe just 4 weeks) of not knowing the day or time.

I’m not gonna lie though, 2022 has had its challenges at times 😷☔️ but it’s also been my busiest year of business ever! I’ve provided services as a freelancer to agencies and have worked directly with businesses one on one. It’s been a whole lot of fun and I’ve learnt SO much.

Thankful to all the wonderful clients and colleagues I’ve worked with along the way.

Today I visited in and had the opportunity to speak to the amazing Lana who runs the not-for-profit organisation supporting Western Sydney’s homeless.

I felt overwhelmed to hear of the huge need and the wonderful community response this Christmas. However! This is so much more the business community can do!

Turn The Tables is a new project they’ve developed to invite local businesses to help fund Mama Lana’s rent and running costs.

Well, this was a lot of fun! We recently ran a mini book launch campaign for a four-legged chef named Kobe 🐕🦴🎥

The Instagram famous pooch and his owner Muriel asked me to publicise their newly released gourmet recipe book 'How To Eat Like A Kobe'. The recipes are designed to be eaten by dogs and their owners 🐕👫 I pitched the story to a small selection of morning TV shows and Sydney newspaper mastheads and we had some great coverage including:

✔️Half-page spread on page 8 of the Sunday Telegraph and an online story (featured below).

✔️A hilarious segment on Studio 10 that included taste testing the dog food.

✔️A segment on Today Extra that featured Kobe demolishing a selection of food made from the book.

Even better, 10 percent of all book sales go directly to OzHarvest to fight food waste.

Muriel Wang from the Blue Mountains makes human-grade food for her Pyrenees Mountain Dog, Kobe. She even has a cookbook of her recipes.

I’ve loved working with Australia’s fluffiest, four-legged chef Kobe over the past week.
🐾🐶🤎

We’ve been able to secure some great media coverage for the release of his new book, ‘How To Eat Like A Kobe’ which shares recipes for dogs AND their owners to share. It’s such a fun recipe book and perfect for all those dog lovers out there.

Check out his appearance on Studio 10 today - I loved pitching this idea to the producer. And it mostly worked 😆 Maybe we’ll keep the dog beer off the menu next time!

We’re so thrilled to welcome Jess Edwards to the Dandelion team. Jess has recently launched her own biz and will be collaborating with us on a number of exciting social media projects.

Jess is a Blue Mountains local who has extensive experience in hospitality and events. She’s a natural relationship builder and is passionate about helping clients personalise their brand and create a winning social media strategy that connects.
