Growth in competition across support categories:
The below chart shows the estimated growth in the number of active providers over a period of one year, across the three major states. Community supports, support coordination and employment services have been attracting service providers at a faster pace.
Some support categories have a much larger existing pool of providers and hence growth rates will seem subdued. The largest categories in terms of active providers are core daily activities, community supports and therapeutic supports.
