I took a holiday.

I didn't have to ask for permission

or worry about depleting my annual leave for the year.

I had the freedom to take as much time off as I needed.

My business continued smoothly because I have my team, who help me build and grow.

I didn't have to worry work would pile up or experiencing a decline in productivity upon my return.

This is precisely why I decided to start my own online business – to have the flexibility of working whenever and wherever I choose.

I can take as many holidays as I desire without having to ask for permission or adhere to specific schedules.

It goes without saying that building a successful business requires dedication and hard work.

But is it worth it?

Absolutely !

I love a good cuppa tea. I drink it to calm myself, I drink it if I’m happy, I drink it if I’m upset. A good cuppa tea is always the solution to everything. ☕️

I have a tattoo down the side of my body I got in Ibiza when I was 21. I absolutely hate it and thankful it’s in a place I can cover up and looking to have it removed at some stage. ( you were right mum ) 🤦🏼‍♀️

I used to play the Cello when I was younger. I use the left side of my brain more as I am a very creative person hence being a hairdresser and now content creator. 🎵 🎨

Most people wouldn’t believe me if I said I’m an introvert and a homebody as after a few gins I can become quite the party animal. 💃🏻

My side hustle allowed me to leave my full time job as a hairdresser to concentrate on studying again 📖

I have a phobia of cats and take a panic attack if one is even a little close to me, I am more than likely to unfollow anyone who posts photos of them as that can trigger me. Sorry it’s not you, it’s the cat 🐾

Thankful for these precious moments with my family.

My goal is to create more opportunities for quality family time

And to help ease the workload for Andy who currently works six days most weeks.

With hard work and determination, I hope to achieve a better work-life balance for us all

And be the present and supportive parents our son deserves.

These goals wouldn’t even have been given a thought if it wasn’t for the opportunity we were given in the online space.

Trying to let go of MUM GUILT.

Taking a moment to soak up the sun and the sea on my own, but the guilt is kicking in.

As mums, we often feel like we should be doing everything as a family.

But it's okay to prioritize our own well-being and recharge our batteries.

Taking care of ourselves makes us better mums in the long run.

So here's to solo beach days and letting go of the guilt. 🌊☀️

Our vintage caravan is almost renovated and we're testing it out by visiting nearby places in NSW before we embark on our big trip around Australia.
